COMPANY DESCRIPTION:Our client is a multi-billion dollar alternative investment manager based in the Bay Area. The firm works in their office Tuesday - Thursday. JOB DESCRIPTION:Our client seeks an Investor Relations Associate to join the team. Job responsibilities include:-Work with the firm's Head of Investor Relations and Head of Business Development to service existing investors and support the fundraising process-Distribute marketing and research materials to existing and prospective investors-Track progress and status of all new business development opportunities in CRM (Salesforce)JOB REQUIREMENTS:-At least 2-3 years of experience working in investor relations at a hedge fund, private equity fund, family office andor endowmentFOFs-Strong undergraduate track record from a top institution-Exceptional technical skills: CRM platforms (Salesforce a plus), data room platforms and consultantthird party databases-Outstanding communication skills-Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
