Job Overview:The field-based Commercial Sales Representative position is responsible for growing revenue and gross profit at accounts in an assigned market segment covering commercial segment facilities. This position is fully remote in the Greater Philadelphia, PA area and reports directly to the sales manager.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead all sales and accountplanning, forecasting, reporting efforts for assigned accountsUnderstand, assess, and anticipate customers' objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunitiesComplete pre-call planning activities that allow for effective and efficient sales callsAcquire new customers to maximize growthManage small accounts by engaging customer service or directing customer to online orderingFocus on strategic selling with mid and large size accounts, and sell programs, systems, and solutionsResponsible for escalated customer service issue follow-up, but not the primary contact point for issue resolutionCollaborate with Product Managers, Pricing & Inventory Analysts, Customer Service Reps and other Associates to present "product demos" and other training presentations to accomplish complete full solution selling for the customer.Call on existing and potential customers to introduce, demonstrate, sell and service company products.Implement and achieve monthly and yearly sales planProvide customer training on company product linesQualify potential customersMaintain expert level of knowledge of company products and competitive product linesAttend trade showsComplete expense reports and other administrative duties as assignedProvide field intelligence on competitive activity, changes in markets, distribution and pricing as well as input on customer preferences and product featuresCost-effectively manage time and assetsMaintain professional presence and poiseKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesProfessional experience with B2B customers, including customer needs assessment, sales plan development, pipeline development and territory growthValid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle report (insurable) and clean driving recordAbility to travel frequently throughout territory including overnight travel.Established relationships with end users and distributors preferredCompetitive mindset and team orientedExperience with automotive related accounts-Dealership, Fleet, Auto RepairExperience in developing new, innovative marketsRequires strong business acumen, teamwork, collaboration, accountability, tenacity and communication skillsAn expert level of knowledge is required in:Sales, negotiation, and serviceCommercial Facilities & ProcessesCommunication and interpersonal skillsOrganizational and technical skillsEducation and ExperienceSuccessful sales history with 2+ years outside sales experienceHigh school diploma, college graduate preferredDisciplined and effective use of CRMComputer proficiency with Microsoft Office productsPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand.The employee regularly is required to walk, climb, or balance.The employee is occasionally required to lift andor move up to 20 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel long pensation and BenefitsCompetitive base salaryTiered bonus plan, paid throughout the yearBenefits after 30 days, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life.401kVacation and Sick PayTuition reimbursement
