Narrative is a video platform + advertising partner focused on conversion-optimized video ads for Meta, YouTube, Snapchat, and Tiktok. We focus on driving performance through our robust creative services platform. Our in-house production teams and proprietary AB testing framework for video power the video assets for some of the largest advertisers across Facebook and Instagram. Our founders are experienced ex-CMO's and CEO's of direct-to-consumer companies. This position will work directly with our CEO and will be part of the executive team. THE ROLENarrative is seeking a Director of Business Development r to work with our partner brands. The role will work directly with C-level and head of marketing roles at some of the world's fastest-growing brands. On the home front, you'll partner with a dynamic team of media buyers and creative producers in a business that is experiencing rapid growth. We are a start-up, so we are looking for grit in a constantly changing, ambiguous environment and problem-solving leadership with limited oversight. Ideal candidates will have experience and measurable success in an advertising sales environment and a robust network of growth leaders in startup companies.RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute a business plan to grow into new accounts leveraging company generated leads, business development, partners, channels, associations, and other sales generated leadsBuild relationships with C-level executives of high-growth companiesCreate and present persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies, and Narrative's solutionsOwn the client relationship from the introduction stage, through onboarding and beyond.Must show diligence in follow-ups and be on top of sales cycles.Own the continued relationship with key decision-makers (executives and day-to-day contacts)REQUIREMENTSExperience with the paid social advertising ecosystem is a must. Whether through an advertising agency or one of the main paid social platforms.3+ years of experience in Marketing, Agency Sales, Customer Acquisition and Growth, Consulting, Mobile andor Online sales3+ years of experience managing client accountsExperience on Facebook advertising ecosystem, existing relationship with Facebook Client Service Managers and Client Partners a huge plus Performance marketing experience Track record of reaching and exceeding business targetsExperience introducing performance measures, processes and systemsExperience navigating complex marketing structures and building relationships with key marketing decision-makers at startups and Fortune 500 levelsWHAT WE OFFERWe have offices in Pasadena, CA. and Menlo Park, CA.
