The position demands a leader with the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives to create and maintain a high-performance sales force.Our company believes in the Ideal Team Player. We follow the model behaviors of Humble (quick to point out the contributions of others), Hungry (self-motivated and diligent), Smart (socially appropriate and aware), Safety-Minded (works to lower safety risks, Quality-Minded (take pride in their work) and Attendance (recognizes their presence is important).ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Define, develop, and implement strategic Sales objectives and action plans for addressing competitive market conditions and achieving sales growth.Prepare sales forecasts, establishes sales objectives, and maintains rapport with key customers.Responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, and economic management as it relates to SalesMaintain relationships with Sales clients and employees by providing support, information, and guidanceProvide constant coaching with employees to ensure company standards are metEstablish systems and monitor all sales efforts to meet goals and to control budgetsPrepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing informationProvide regular communicationfeedback to CEO and other department managers as requiredExecute monthly scorecard meetings with Territory Reps and Inside SalesMaintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standardsWork closely with Marketing staff and other departments as needed to accomplish companywide goals and objectivesResponsible for leading and managing the sales staff and ensuring they meet established performance standardsCreate a work environment and culture that attracts and maintains creative and professional personnelUpdate all internal product pricing, as neededWork with multiple departments to design, test, and manufacture new DCD productsPlan and attend trade showsOversee e-commerce platforms selling DCD productsPunctuality and regular attendanceNON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Track and initiate claims process for missing and damaged packagesMaintain healthy vendor relationshipsAssist locations with inventoriesLiaison with sales and IT to see issues and improvements to completionPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computerPhysical ability to do work requiring frequent lifting, twisting, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, walking, standing, and driving within an 8-hour work periodPhysical ability to do work requiring lifting 1 to 75 poundsCOMPENTENCY, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Excellent skills and basic knowledge in business, quantitative analysis, and budgetingExcellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent analytical and business planning skillsExcellent written and oral English language communication skillsStrongly competitive, initiative-taking, and goal-drivenStrong human relations skills including negotiation, collaboration, and teamworkAble to work in creative, highly dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentAble to adapt to rapid change and oversee quick decision-makingWillingness to work flexible hoursEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:REQUIRED:Bachelor's Degree in Sales or Business-related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in Sales and MarketingStrong knowledge of sewer and drain industry and productsClean driving record with a valid driver licensePREFERRED:10-15 years of experience in Sales and Marketing5+ years of experience in the drain or plumbing industryADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Travel 5-10%The McAlear Group offers a full range of benefits for eligible employee including 401k, health and life insurance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), disability coverage, and PTO.
