This position supports the Producer on specified accounts and may providerelevant insurance advice to new and existing clients. As an agency representative, the Account Manager must maintain a positive, professional image and exemplify the agency's standards for client service. The Account Manager must understand the firm's range of products and services and strive to develop long-term relationships with clients and insurance company underwriters. The position is responsible for interacting directly with clients and providing ongoing support and service to clients. The duties of this position include the exercise of discretion and independent judgment and authority concerning performing work that affects business operations to asubstantial degree, including but not limited to the binding and interpretation of insurance coverages. Works under the direction of the Producer, servicing assigned clients.Minimum QualificationsMust have and maintain a current Property & Casualty Insurance license inthe state they reside.Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years related experience; or High SchoolDiplomaGED and 5 or more years of related experienceProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to navigate various carrier websites to retrieve items for processingor customer inquiries.Working knowledge of CSR24Preferred QualificationPrevious experience working in EPICHabitational Insurance experience, regardless of the specialty,y is desirableHabitational Insurance experience with extensive property schedules is highlydesirableAdditional Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesAbility to be highly organized yet flexible in dealing with shifting priorities,fluctuating workloads, and evolving procedures.Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoyworking with people in a high-volume customer service environment.Ability to work independently with limited supervision while maintainingpositive staff relationships within a teamwork environment.Examples of Essential Job DutiesDevelops relationships with clients and prospects, partnering withProducer(s) to service and retain assigned client accountsAssists Producer(s) in identifying and recommending appropriate coveragesto clients and prospects to comfortably solicit increases in coverage orrounding out accounts at every service contact.Assist Producer(s) in coordinating with marketing during the marketing andquotation process, creating Summaries of Insurance and Proposals of InsuranceEducate clients and prospects on coverages, important exclusions, and otherdocumentation requirements.Review andor process new and renewal policies, endorsements, audits,audit assignments, cancellations, non-renewal notices, and similar documents for accuracy and communicate changes successfully to the carrier.Confirm all coverage is boundIssue binder or obtain binders from wholesalers on behalf of customers corporate the capabilities of the Agency management system into thedaily workflowAssists with clients' access & utilization of the Client PortalPerforms timely and accurate invoicing per agency policy and procedureOther duties as assigned.
