Keep on reading for the details.Senior Associate, Multifamily Engagement The Senior Associate, Multifamily Engagement leads Outreach for the Multifamily Energy Savings Program funded by the northern Illinois utilities. The goal of this program is to implement energy efficiency improvements that save energy and reduce costs for building owners and their tenants. The Senior Associate, Multifamily Engagement is a member of Elevate's Community Partnerships team and works closely with Elevate's marketing and call center teams to coordinate messaging and a smooth customer experience for this program. The Senior Associate, Multifamily Engagement also collaborates closely with staff across the organization and with partner organizations.The Senior Associate, Multifamily Engagement reports directly to the Associate Director, Community Partnerships. This position is located in Chicago, Illinois and is currently hybrid-remote. There may be instances where onsite travel is required.Responsibilities Provide input to and implementation of a metrics-driven outreach plan for all multifamily building owners in the ComEd territory which may include tracking the number of events, touches, leads, and possibly other metrics.Lead and direct constituent engagement, including performing outreach to events with a high percentage of multi-family property owners or managers, planning and holding outreach events targeting multi-family audiences, and utilizing other tactics to spread word about the offerings to the target groups.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as partner organizations or community leaders.Providing internal and external communications with utilities, partnersconsultants, customers, and internal project team, with a focus on external communications with customers and stakeholders.Develop, track, and report outreach metrics as well as reporting on the specific outcomes of events attended or held.Follow up with interested property owners to encourage their participation in energy saving programs.Provide referrals to property owners or tenants who do not qualify for the MFES program to other appropriate programs.Develop and implement neighborhood-specific messaging with Elevate's Marketing team.Maintain timely data entry and integrity.Develop and update standard operating procedures for outreach conducted on behalf of the MFES program for inclusion in the Operations Manual.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree strongly preferredBilingual Spanish strongly preferredPassion for environmental issues, economic and social justice, andor energy efficiencyWillingness and ability to become well-versed in multifamily residential energy use, including energy efficiency technology and building scienceExceptional verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking to groups in person as well as filming videos, and facilitating small group discussions, and excellent at one-on-one interactions.Ability to work effectively with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds and political beliefsStrong written communication skills; ability to craft professional letters or email communicationsExperience crafting social media strategy and content preferredStrong organizational ability and experience in meeting established goals within tight timeframesSelf-starter with ability to work independently and remotely as well as within a teamFamiliarity with standard business computer applications; experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferredAbility to track and report on metrics related to outreach activitiesFamiliarity with the Chicago metropolitan area, its communities, community organizations, andleaders a plus, and familiarity or willingness to become familiar with the Rockford area and other regions in northern IllinoisFamiliarity with energy efficiency upgrades or multifamily residential property management a plusAbility to travel throughout the ComEd territory for events as neededOrganization Description We design and implement programs that reduce costs, protect people and the environment, and ensure the benefits of clean and efficient energy use reach those who need them most.At Elevate, the greatest asset of our organization is the kind of people we attract. From our mission to our focus on staff wellbeing and career development opportunities, there's no better place to grow your career than pensation The total compensation for this position includes health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.), defined contribution benefit (401k with contribution), professional development, generous paid time off policies, and a flexible schedule.
