JCW is currently working on behalf of a growing specialty insurer that's looking to hire an AVPVP Casualty Underwriter. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing casualty insurance accounts, assessing risks, and making underwriting decisions to ensure profitability and compliance with company policies.Key Responsibilities:Evaluate and underwrite new and renewal casualty insurance policies.Develop and implement underwriting strategies.Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and clients.Mentor and guide junior underwriters.Qualifications:8+ years in casualty underwriting with a proven track record.
