The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid customers in their success using our product. We are seeking an Account Manager to take ownership on NPI and sustaining OEMJDM business. The sales role will collaborate with cross-functional team members based in the US and Asia to develop the latest solutions in consumer electronics.ResponsibilitiesWork cross functionally within the company to communicate with all stakeholders in customers' successCreate and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their needsMake visits to our customers to identify opportunities for growth within our platformManage all reporting about the health of customers' accountsDevelop relationships with key customers and generate leads for new opportunities.Create sales strategies based on customer's business strategy, market research and competitor analyses.Own RFQRFP response, NPI process, and the commercial relationship upon project award. Provide regular quotation updates and SOW completion.Work with Cross-functional teams within both Customer and Internal teams, including Sourcing, Engineering, Program Management, and other related teams.Based upon day-to-day engagement with customers, act as a proactive liaison with our factory personnel.Provide regular project status updates to management and drive timely completion of tasks.Negotiate liabilities with customers and retrieve POs when applicable.Manage product transitions to minimize excess and obsolete materials.Lead recovery plans and execution when supply falls short of demand.QualificationsPrevious account management experience. 5+ years of sales experience and 3+ years of project management experience.Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing roleWillingness and ability to travelBachelor's degree is required. MBA desired.Experience in Audio Component sales is highly desired.Understanding of Product cost and ability to analyze clean sheets.Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.Strong organizational skills and ability to lead multiple projects and prioritize when required. Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Strong attention to details.Fluent in conversational Mandarin is highly desired.
