Full-Cycle Sales Executive (Portfolio Manager)Braeburn Whisky is the world's premier whisky cask investment and ownership specialist, with offices in Scotland, Barcelona and New York. Our team is young, multicultural, and dedicated to helping clients maximize their experience in the exciting world of whisky cask ownership.We are seeking experienced and hungry sales team members at various levels to join us in driving domestic cask sales across the U.S. market.You will primarily focus on prospecting and closing a high-net-worth client base by educating them on and facilitating sales of Scotch Whisky casks - providing support throughout the entire lifecycle and managing long term relationships.Candidates will gain exposure to all aspects of the business, gaining insight into our brand, independent bottling ventures, and the whisky industry, with significant opportunity to expand responsibilities and contributions alongside the business.Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prospecting and business development to generate your own pipeline of qualified buyers - hunters only!Leveraging relationships and center of influence prospecting and marketing to identify and close potential buyersCollaborating with the Sales Team Manager and sales team to proactively drive business growth.Managing lead and deal pipeline and maintaining a personal database of prospects and existing municating with clients via email, phone, and in-person to pitch and introduce our unique product: single cask whisky.Building and maintaining strong client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance, as well as recommending new cask opportunities and collaborative referral options.Hosting or coordinating client visits to our Manhattan-based tasting room in New York, our whisky library in Edinburgh, Scotland, and our cask warehouse facility in Scotland, as well as attending off-site events in the U.S. and internationally.Creating opportunities domestically by targeting key markets across the U.S. to introduce our product to new audiences.Working closely with design and marketing teams to provide tailored bottling services that meet individual client needs.Attending networking and industry events.Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of single cask whisky, independent bottling, alternative investments, and industry news.Making 100-250+ new outbound callscontact attempts across various channels dailyDesired Skills and Experience:A minimum of 12 months telephone sales experience, preferably in the Financial or luxury sectors, with a history of soliciting and closing deals in the five to six-figure rangeExcellent presentation and negotiation skills High standard of personal motivation and organizationProficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Comfortable dealing with high-net-worth individuals digitally and in-personAn integrated team player who can also be trusted to self-direct personal workloadA proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skillsExperience exploring all revenue potential and qualifying prospects in a professional mannerExperience handling objection and rebuttals Entrepreneurial ability and desire to work and build a business in a dynamic operating environmentThis job will suit highly motivated individuals with a drive to succeed and a passion for sales. If you also have a great passion for whisky, that's a plus.Employment Type:Full-time responsibility, 9:00 - 18:00 Monday - FridayExpected Start Date: January 2024Compensation: A generous incentive performance-based compensation offering will reward successful and driven salespersons. No base salary. OTE is in the $150k - $450k+ for average to top performers.
