General Placement Service has partnered with a growing and highly successful company with locations across the U.S. They are looking for an experienced Production Underwriter to manage a multi-state territory. You will work out of their Chicago office and visit independent agentsretail insurance brokers to market the company's multiple lines of coverage including Worker's Compensation and General Liability, to human service and non-profit businesses.Account types would include both non-profit and for-profit social service organizations, such as child daycare, sheltered workshops, group homes, senior citizen centers, senior independent living, schools, counseling services, YMCAs, YWCAs and Boys & Girls this role, you will: - Meet and maintain relationships with assigned agents - Build and grow a profitable book of business - Underwrite all new business throughout the territoryTo be qualified, you must have:- 5+ years of Underwriting experience- Previous Sales & Marketing experience- Bachelor's degree and designations are preferredExcellent salary and bonus potential.
