Northbound Executive Search | Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is a highly regarded asset manager looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst in a newly created position. This hire will be responsible for:Position SummaryDevelop flexible GP financial models to depict current value and prospects based on management's growth initiativesPreparation of annual budget, regular reforecasts, model to improve senior management's decisions on future initiatives, answer many ad hoc requestsSupport Finance team's preparation and review including performance reporting of fund investment cash flows (IRRs, multiples) and portfolio company metricsProvide Investor Relations with needed Fund data and analysis for marketing materials especially for Annual Conference and Fund-Raising efforts, assist Investment team tracking and reporting of investmentsWork with Portfolio Company investments to receive timely data feeds of performance data and support monthly reporting of Portfolio CompanyWork with third party valuation providers and external auditors during their quarterlyannual reviews of the investment portfoliosCoordinate with tax, investor relations, fund accounting, operations, and risk teams on reporting, reconciliations, and investment structuringQualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel is requiredBachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, EconomicsExposure to buildingreviewing valuation models andor other financial models including: DCF, comparable company, forecasts and other modelsKnowledge of private equity, real estate, structured product valuation techniques and ASC 820 fair valurDemonstrated ability to connect, collaborate and communicate effectively to all levels of valuation knowledge and internal hierarchy Compensation is very generous.
