Overview:CSP is partnering with a structural and civil engineering firm serving a wide variety of clients and markets from New York to Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects from inception to construction with a solid understanding of structural engineering principles along with strong verbal and written communication skills. We are seeking team members who have a wide range of experience across the commercial construction industry and are capable of seeing projects through from the beginning of design to the completion of construction. Duties: Provide management of projects including oversight and training of Engineers-in­ training.Prepare designs using modern structural analysis software such as RISA Design Suite, RAM SS, Enercalc, among others.Prepare construction documents using Autodesk drafting software; Revit & AutoCAD.Write and edit structural design specifications in Masterworks format.Attend meetings with clients, design teams members and contractors.Perform construction administration related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections.Collaborate with architects and designers and building contractors on design and construction of projects.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering4+ years of relevant engineering experienceProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license (or qualified to obtain within 1yr.)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently Attention to detailAbility to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced collaborative environment Benefits:Competitive compensation with bi-annual performance bonuses401(k)401(k) matchingHealth InsuranceLife InsurancePaid HolidaysPaid time offVision Insurance
