Position Summary: Instructs young children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth needed for primary school success by performing the following duties personally. Responsible for ensuring that all critical tasks are fulfilled on a timely and high-quality basis.Your Role at SARRCAssist in the development and implementation of weekly and daily lesson plies fully with all medical records and information privacy regulations, local, state and federal.Plans individual and group activities to stimulate growth in language, social, and motor skills such as learning to listen to instructions, playing with others, and using play equipment.Sets up the classroom with all necessary materials while appropriately organizing and constructing activities and classroom zones.Continually interacts with all children in the classroom including instructing children on practices of personal cleanliness and self-care.Create a safe learning environment and attend to children's basic needs; Maintain DHS health and sanitation guidelinesCollect data on student performance and municate with students, parents, and staff on a daily basis in regard to observations, progress, concerns, questions, preferences, etc.Who You AreHigh school diploma with a degree from an accredited college or university in the field of teaching, child development, social work or similar course of study preferred.At least 1 year of successful experience in a pre-school and aftercare enterprise, working directly with pre-school children with or without special needs.Active BLSCPR and Basic First Aid certifications required.Demonstrated ability to relate to and work with diverse backgrounds, human capabilities and limitations, and terest in service to individuals with specialized and occasionally complex needs.Salary$17hrHours LocationFull-timeMonday - FridayWe have availability at the following locations:Phoenix, AZ (300 N 18th St, Phoenix, AZ 85006)Tempe, AZ (975 E Warner Rd, Tempe, AZ 85284)Scottsdale, AZ (6535 E Osborn Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251)Mesa, AZ (2165 N Power Rd, Mesa, AZ 85215) - Opening January 2025!Robust Benefits PackageUp to 16 days per year paid time off and 8 paid holidaysMedical, dental and vision insurance (majority of coverage paid for by SARRC)401(k) with 50% company match up to 6%Internal job growth opportunitiesProfessional development annual benefit of $1000Our StoryEstablished in 1997 by two mothers of children with autism and their developmental pediatrician, SARRC is an internationally recognized nonprofit with a mission to advance research and provide a lifetime of support for individuals with autism and their families.
