Associate Director of FP&A Chicago - hybrid, 3 days a week in the office$180,000 - $210,000 + bonus and benefitsThe Company An Associate Director of FP&A role is available for this world leading Professional Services organisation, with multiple offices around the world. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative and diverse organisation. This is a key role where you can drive the day-to-day activities and administration related to the Firm's Financial Planning & Analysis. You will be working cross-functionally with the business, supporting key decision making and business planning activities, and leading a team.Key Responsibilities of the Associate Director of FP&ALeading a team of FP&A specialists, within a training and mentoring mindsetOwnership of the P&L for review, analysis & reportingLead with data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and optimize resource allocation.Providing support on technical accounting papers, board papers & interimyear end preparationSupporting the development of rolling reforecasting for revenue & net incomeUnderstanding revenue trends, KPIs & potential issuesManagement of business unit cost centres to manage operating expenditure & provide commercial business challenge to ensure operational, commercial & financial targets are achievedFinancial planning for business unit cost centres to drive budgeting & forecasting cyclesFinancial analysis of business unit performanceSupporting the delivery of a continuous FP&A transformation agendaSkills & Attributes of the Associate Director of FP&ABachelor or Master's degree in accounting, finance, business, economics or similarProven P&L management and analysis, financial planning and forecasting experience, ideally in a global professional services environmentAbility to present financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-finance business partners and strong Excel skills.Highly detail-oriented with a strong ability to maintain a strategic, big-picture perspectiveSelf-motivated, proactive individual with commercial flair and analytical capability, who can influence key stakeholders and implement change and innovation.Follow us on LinkedIn for up-to-date industry news and our latest vacancies: and can only be considered from those eligible to live & work in the USA without restriction.
