**Our office is currently in Irving, TX. However, we will move to Plano, TX on January 1, 2025.**We are looking for an Operations Supervisor for Critical Infrastructure business area in Americas. In this role, you get to ensure smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations. The role will be located in Irving, Texas and report to Operations Director of Critical Infrastructure.What You Would Do As Operations SupervisorManage a high level of productivity while maximizing efficiencies and minimizing wasteEnsure orders are completed in a correct and timely fashion to maximize customer on-time deliveryLead production teamInventory Management and reportingDevelop supply chain management and reportingDevelop quality management and reportingDevelop Critical Infrastructure unit´s Operational Excellence program according to common guidelinesMaintain a "duty of care" in relation to workplace health and safetyLead and assist in developing lean initiatives while continually improving procedures and processesThe Skills And Experience You NeedExperience in working with SAP S4HANA is a requirementPrevious experience working in a high volumefast paced manufacturing environment.A working knowledge of production systems, manufacturing practice and quality standardsEducation: Associate Degree in supply chain or related fieldPrevious experience of LEAN manufacturing techniques, Kaizen, process improvement, customer service, freight and distribution, capacity and manpower planning, inventory management and replenishment, and production schedulingAbility to prioritise safety in the workplaceAbility to work independentlyGood communication and teamwork skillsGood problem-solving skillsSystematic and developing approachDemonstrated project management skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environmentCompetent with Microsoft Office skills, such as Word, Excel, PowerPointFluent in English and Spanish, both written and spokenWe are the ASSA ABLOY GroupOur people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
