Their sites conduct studies spanning Phases I-IV and they've been awarded for excellence in recruitment and recognized in the industry for retention, a best-in-class experience for patients and sponsors.The RoleThe Sub-Investigator (Clinical Research NP) is responsible for oversight and execution of clinical trials that test new medications on the behalf of sponsorpharmaceutical companies! You will work in a clinic to promote Good Clinical Practice and follow research protocols assigned. This includes things like medical management of patients on trial, administering medications, documentation, tracking and management of adverse events, and overall management of the study. You will work along a Principal Investigator, have a team of skilled coordinators, managers, and assistants as well!Evaluate and screen potential subjects based on study eligibility criteriaPerform and review medical procedures in accordance with the clinical study protocolComplete all documentation, paper and electronicProvide oversight and ensures proper delegation of duties to appropriate staffProvide and maintain updated study related documentationEvaluate and report safety reports, protocol noncompliance and any other protocol specific reports.QualificationsNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant degree Ability to dedicate a full time schedule on site in Metairie, LAExperience with, or understanding of Clinical Research Studies preferred
