Job Title: Automation QA EngineerLocation: Newark, Delaware (Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week)Duration: 12-18 Month ContractPay Range: $55 - $60 per hourAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer to join a leading financial institution for a 12-18 month contract. In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise to design and implement automation frameworks, conduct UI and middleware testing, and work on cutting-edge financial services applications. If you are detail-oriented, collaborative, and have a strong background in automation and quality assurance, we'd love to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement advanced automation frameworks using Core Java.Execute UI testing and automate middleware messages (SOAPRESTXMLJSON) using Selenium.Collaborate with AgileScrum teams to ensure seamless test case execution and quality deliverables.Work on CICD automation implementation using Jenkins and Selenium.Manage test cases and code repositories with tools like BitbucketGitHub.Provide quality assurance for financial applications by creating and running tests in Cucumber BDD frameworks.Must-Have Skills and Qualifications7-9 years of experience in automation framework design using Core Java.3-5 years of experience in automating web applications with custom object recognition in Core Java.Proficiency with tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or Cucumber BDD.Experience with SOAPRESTXMLJSON middleware testing automation.Strong technical knowledge in CICD processes with Jenkins.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and using JIRA for task management.Strong communication and soft skills with demonstrated tenure and minimal employment gaps.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Desired SkillsProficiency in tools like Rest Assured, SoapUI, or PEGA workflowsapplications.2-3 years of experience writing SQLOracle queries for testing purposes.Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks and JIRA.Previous experience in financial services is a plus.
