BPI is committed to providing state-of-the-art facilities for the life science industry.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Building Engineer at our Class A Life Science campus in San Diego. The Chief Building Engineer will be responsible for overseeing building sytems, maintenance & repair, facility management and preventive maintenance activities on a daily basis. Building Engineer will engage directly tenants on-site to provide engineering support. QualificationsExperience with Life Science facilities Building Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skillsExperience in Facility Management (FM)Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance practicesExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsRelevant certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC certification)Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
