Hotel Jackson is a Michelin Key and Forbes 4-star rated property with 55 rooms that are unique in design, using materials and colors authentic to Jackson Hole's history and landscape. Known for some of the most wild and intact ecosystems in the world, Jackson Hole surprises for its vibrant arts, dining, music, and culture.It is an exciting time for Hotel Jackson as they are poised to expand their culinary offerings with a new full-service French inspired steakhouse concept, as well as a stunning new rooftop bar and restaurant. These exciting additions will complement their award-winning FIGS restaurant, which features authentic Lebanese-Mediterranean cuisine in the beautiful hotel lobby space.Hotel Jackson is seeking a polished, professional Food & Beverage Director to helm operations for all new and existing dining outlets. This role will work in collaboration with the Executive Chef to organize restaurant operations in anticipation of the expansion, oversee daily operations of all outlets (including FIGS and IRD), and spearhead the opening of the new steakhouse and rooftop bar. The ideal candidate will bring an upbeat, charismatic energy to the property in order to develop a positive culture that will support the entire team to flourish. A strong understanding of luxury resort settings and elevating fine dining experiences is essential. Looking for someone who has a desire to be very guest facing and put roots down to establish themselves in the community. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a growing Michelin Key and Forbes-starred property in a breathtaking, picturesque locale!Food & Beverage Director Responsibilities:Direct and coordinate the overall food and beverage operations for the property, which includes all new and existing restaurant outlets, bars, and in-room dining to ensure maximum profitsMaintain highest standard of service and quality which includes food production, equipment use and control, banquet service, room service, beverage service, restaurant service and food and beverage purchasingEnsure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standardsLead, mentor, and train the Food & Beverage operations team and work in collaboration with Executive ChefInterview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standardsImplement and monitor ordering and receiving program to ensure proper quantity and prices on all purchasesAct as an ambassador for the brand within the community and provide leadership and planning to all F&B Outlet departments to support service culture, maximize operations and guest satisfactionProvide unique guest services that are above and beyond to create memorable experiences and guest retentionEnsure that regular, on-going communication occurs in all areas of food and beverage (e.g., pre-meal briefings, staff meetings, culinary team)Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team membersFood & Beverage Director Qualifications:Minimum 2 years' experience as an F&B Director, Director of Operations, DOFB, Director of Restaurants, or Director of Outlets; or 4+ years' experience as a Multi-Unit General Manager (GM) or Restaurant GM in a luxury hotelresort settingA strong luxury hotel background is required (Forbes, Michelin Key, Relais & Chí¢teaux, or comparable designation)Strong, charismatic, and hands-on leaderComprehensive knowledge of expense control as it relates to payroll, forecasting and budgeting of expenses to ensure company goals are met on a monthly and yearly basisOrganize multiple projects; manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlinesAbility to understand that the human component is just as important as the financial componentExcellent problem solverAbility to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities at oncePassion for providing excellent serviceComposure in handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts within team or clienteleHighly creative with the ability to think outside the boxComputer savvyFlexible schedule requirement and ability to relocate and live on site in Jackson HoleCompensation Includes:Base Salary in the $125-150k range DOEMedical Benefits401kPTO PlanDry CleaningRelocation AssistanceHousing*Please do not reach out to Hotel Jackson directly.
