Pre-Suit Paralegal Growing personal injury law firmFully remote role (Candidates must be located in one of the following areas: Long Island, NYC, Upstate NY)Our client, a growing plaintiff's personal injury law firm, is seeking to add a Pre-Suit Paralegal to their team! They are looking for a dependable individual with strong communication and organizational skills. Two years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury firm is preferred.Salary and Benefits: Salary range $52,000-58,000. Competitive benefits, including 401K with employer match, medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance and PTO.*Please note, candidates must be bilingual (EnglishSpanish) to be consideredJob Duties:·Client communication· Draft legal documents· Establish all necessary insurance claims· Establish and manage no-fault claims on behalf of clients· Review and organize medical records and other case-related documents· Organize, manage and maintain an accurate case file in firm's case-management system· Support for attorneysQualifications:· 4-year College Degree· Must be Bilingual - English and Spanish.· One to two years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury firm is preferred.· Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and staff. Positive and hardworking attitude.· Organization: Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.· Accountability: Must be dependable and punctual.· Fluent with Microsoft Office and Excel.· Notary is preferred.· Experience with Filevine is a plus.· Positive, can do attitude.
