We are assisting a highly respected, Texas based national commercial general contractor. This contractor specializes in a range of construction services, including commercial, K-12, Higher Education, Municipal, Public Safety, and Senior Living. They have become one of the top schools builders in the United States and operate in 25 offices. This GC is known for its commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, and has a team of experienced professionals who work closely with clients to deliver successful projects.We are looking to hire a K-12 Senior Project Manager and Project Manager with experience building schools and successfully working w various school districts in DFW.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the daily construction activities on the project siteCoordinate with subcontractors to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the highest quality standardsReview and understand project plans and specifications to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with these documentsMonitor project budgets and schedule to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budgetCollaborate with project managers to ensure that all project requirements are metMaintain a safe and organized work siteQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related field5-15 years of relevant experience in K-12 school constructionManaged crews of ten (10) or more tradesmenManaged all subcontractors on a single anize site project progress meetings, compile meeting minutes and perform preconstruction meetings.OSHA 30 hour, First AidCPRAbility to perform layout with use of construction survey equipment is a plus.Understanding of plans, specifications and construction documentsStrong work ethic, decisive, ambitious, with an unwavering commitment to qualityHigh level of motivation, integrity, and commitment to team and customerResults-orientated with proven ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to meet deadlinesAbility to provide leadership field personal and subcontractorsAbility to manage owner expectations
