Senior Project Manager |San Francisco Bay Area, CAOur client is a leader in providing workplace solutions across multiple industries, with a construction team responsible for overseeing both in-house and third-party general contractors to deliver high quality workplace improvements. The Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring tenant satisfaction by understanding and aligning with the tenant's project vision and objectives. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle"”from preconstruction through closeout"”ensuring timely delivery within the client's established budget. Key responsibilities include overseeing contractual and specification compliance, advising on constructability, upholding quality standards, and fostering team collaboration to achieve project success.RESPONSIBLITIES• Assumes project responsibility from preconstruction through closeout to include but not limitedto client relations, subcontractor relations, constructability, team collaboration, projectschedule, reports and budgets. Sets up and maintains all documents that pertain to the projectto ensure procedural and contractual compliance.• Conducts andor participates in design review meetings with Tenants, outside design professionals or other consultants. Provides advice and support to these efforts, as may berequired, including decisions made which deviate from established our client's standards or mayimpact on the established cost, quality or time of performance standard for the job.• Initiates and maintains positive working relationships with clients, architecturalengineeringcontacts, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, authorities having jurisdiction, and other projectteam members. Maintains effective working relationships within the various departments of ourclient's.• Develops, implements, and communicates construction techniques and production processes.Assured that internal controls are in place and followed throughout each step of theconstruction process for projects. Manages all document control of RFI submittals, changeorders, correspondence, permits, drawings, specs, and reports in a systematic and traceablemanner.• Collaborate with on-site Superintendent andor 3rd party General Contractor to ensure projectis built on schedule, within budget and meets or exceeds quality standards and clientexpectations.• Responsible for the ongoing analysis of project buyout, savings, and contingencies; schedulesbuyout into the overall project schedule and ensures milestones are met.• Assist in development of punch lists and oversee successful completion.• Displays and attitude of ownership and responsibility.REQUIREMENTS• Bachelor's degree preferred andor minimum of 7-10 years of formal building constructionexperience required or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.• Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principles andtechniques as well as accounting principles.• Ability to prioritize requests and manage projects to meet target delivery dates• Performs work tasks by receiving direction and then working independently with an interest• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of discipline, construction technology, design, applicablecodes, standards, etc., required• Analyzes and resolves construction process problems and issues and effectively communicatesand interfaces with all levels of personnel• Strong computer skills and familiarity with MS Office and CAD.• Strong verbal and written communications skills• Performance of the duties will occasionally require physical ability to climb permanent andtemporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders andnegotiate work areas under construction.• May need to occasionally lift andor move up to 50 pensation: 165k base + annual bonus.
