We are working with a leading law firm headquartered in NYC. They are actively looking for a highly organized Practice Assistant to join their team for a temporary assignment.Key Responsibilities: Act as the administrative point of contact between the attorneys and internalexternal clientsPrepare, edit, and format correspondences, presentations, spreadsheets, memos, and other documentsPrepare labels for packages and coordinate couriermessenger deliveries; track complex shipments to ensure they have reached their intended destinationsArrange complex travel arrangementsaccommodations as required and create detailed travel itineraries for assigned attorneysOrder catering for meetings as necessaryProcess and track vendorclient invoices in the Firm's check request system and resolve any billing issuesReconcile attorney Amex accounts on a weekly basisSubmit attorney expenses for reimbursementsProofread and enter time entries in timekeeping system for assigned attorneysProofread and edit client bills monthly and assist in resolving billing issuesPrepare new vendor agreement forms and assemble required documentationMaintain attorneys' calendars by arranging andor adjusting meetings, and providing reminders as necessaryManage business contacts and development activities through IntappPull news articles, convert to PDF, and circulate as neededAssist with planning and executing internal and external eventsPreferred Qualifications:1+ years of experience in an administration role.Proficient in Microsoft Outlook suiteExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills; strong attention to detailAbility to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writingAbility to work well independently, as well as effectively within a teamAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writingStrong research and analytical skills
