Create innovative comfort food implementing current trends. Create new, innovative and exciting Comfort Food Entrees for Lunch, Dinner and Brunch. Create an in-house 1940's Supper Club menu with elevated comfort food that will create fresh excitement for in house dining. Manage a high-volume kitchen overseeing all back of house employees. Hands on training and supervision for prep kitchen and line cooks. Responsible for overseeing all food purchasing. Maintaining and improving menu item quality for a well-known and respected Restaurant. Oversee a rapidly growing catering business and create and train an overnight staff that will prepare ready to cook catering dishes and creative platters. Organizational skills must be tight. High energy, upbeat managerial skills promoting a safe non-hostile workplace. Must be open to suggestions and most of all create and nurture a culture where the focus is to satisfy our guests. There is no room for big egos.
