Hello,Role : Procurement Analyst Located: Long Island City, NY Contract Job Duties:Source, negotiate, and contract with suppliers for goods and services.Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet organizational needs.Analyse procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.Manage the procurement process from requisition to payment.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts.Monitor and control procurement spending.Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement documentationQualifications and Requirements:5+ years of procurement experience.Strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.Knowledge of New York City Procurement Policy Board (PPB) Rules, local laws, New York State and Federal regulations, and the City CharterExcellent communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
