Senior Project Accountant/Cost Control Job Summary Vaco has partnered with a Construction Company and they have an opening for a Senior Project Accountant who will be ultimately responsible for the accurate monthly costing and accounting of project related financial data.  Ideal candidate with have experience with cost reporting and analysis (ACR's) and requestions.  Client is offering healthy benefits.   Major Duties & Responsibilities Cost Accounting Responsible for managing and monitoring the costs associated with a capital project to ensure that the project stays within the approved budget Job Cost reports Anticipated cost Report (ACR) processing Review JD Edwards Contract Billing Proof Report. Project Status Report (PSR) Forecasting AR cash processing Contract processing Documentation Disbursements  Essentials -  B.S. in Accounting/Finance Cost Accounting (project related) experience is a must 5+ years of Project Accounting experience Cost Reports experience is a must Experience with JD Edwards or similar software MS Office and excel proficiency Excellent communication  Schedule - Able to travel to different site for project purposes
