The Asset Management Senior Analyst is responsible for analysis, review, and reporting of property performance as applicable on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for asset management. Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of models, proformas, and other reports needed for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages. This role includes direct oversight of a small portfolio of assets. The pay range for this position is $100-110k based upon factors including but not limited to related experience and time in the industry. ANALYSIS Prepares and analyzes periodic updates to financial models and proformas to include validation through analysis and communication with Asset Managers to ensure the completeness and accuracy of information being updated. Summarizes and communicates the results of the analysis and identify trends and key areas of concern where applicable. INFORMATION EXTRACTION Extracts information directly from property management system and acts as the liaison between asset management, property management and funding accounting as needed. REPORTING Generates and reviews reports to analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual results. Analyzes and investigates variances. Works with Investor Relations on reporting, presentations and investor inquiries. PROCESS AND PORTFOLIO IMPROVEMENT Seeks to streamline and modernize analytical process. Takes initiative to recommend revenue boosting or cost saving measures across the portfolio. Works with property management teams on variance analysis and performance improvement plans. MANAGEMENT Assists in sale and refinancing analyses and transactions. Assists Asset Manager with partnership responsibilities. Works with analytical team on validating analysis FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE Develops, maintains, and assists with business plans. Review and approve annual budgets. Assists with internal valuations. Skills Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications, especially Excel required Advanced analytical skills required. Advanced verbal and written communication skills required. Self-starter, takes initiative, able to multi-task in busy environment required. Desire to Learn Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Education Requirements and/or Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate or related discipline required. Master's Degree in Finance, Business or Real Estate a plus. 2+ years of experience with overall financial review of an assigned portfolio of residential properties or projects required. Financial modeling required.
