In this role, you will proactively identify opportunities for bundling various Verizon products, launch convergent offerings for business customers. The Product Manager possesses a blend of business and commercial expertise, can see the big picture, drive revenue and has the confidence to make vision into reality. This individual's blend of business and technical expertise will ensure Verizon's products remain competitive and drive revenue growth, working closely with business sponsors, users and customers to identify key pain points and collaboratively design, build solutions that delight the end-user and then partner with sales and service to sell those products to meet the revenue targets. The role's mission is to drive the direction and innovation of their product portfolio. Key Responsibiities: Strong understanding of the market opportunity. Responsible for the product P&L, identifying and managing commercial risks and ensuring strategic product decisions align with the business decisions. Conduct market research of customer needs, pain points and perform competitor gap analysis, identifying new offerings to drive growth and converting /refining them into product ideas. Formulate and drive strategic initiatives. Work closely with product marketers and engineers to understand the market and technology trends, define and drive product vision, business case, product strategy and distill a product roadmap for convergent offers. Harnessing the power of our Big Data to identify the best ways to target business customers. Use broad industry perspective to interpret competitive information, draw intelligent conclusions, provide assessments at the strategic and tactical level, and formulate promo recommendations on proactive and/or reactive actions. Identifying and prioritizing market-backed use cases for convergent offers. Understanding the business, consumer behavior within the mobile industry and how competitive actions influence the marketing landscape and our ability to meet our objectives from a growth & retention perspective. Define convergent customer journeys, estimate level of effort and investment required, and create business cases and operational plans for the same. Program and manage the converged product across stakeholders in Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Technology to build and launch products. Develop pricing strategies for bundled fixed and mobile packages Define MVPs, manage product backlog priorities, and strategically de-scope to achieve rapid feedback cycles. Collaborate with Product Governance and drive product scoping and development. Present strategy to key VPs and directors within the organization and align resources and cross functional support to execute on the plan of record; integrate roadmap into the communication plan to show how each initiative is aligned to the business revenue targets and your critical area of focus. You have a knack for bundling offerings, pricing, understanding and presenting information that is consumable for various audiences. You are a team player that is able to work cross functionally, motivate individuals inter/intra organization while meeting business objectives, timely. You'll need to have: Bachelor's Degree or four or more years of work experience. Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training. Product management experience with financial acumen. Experience gathering, organizing and analyzing large amounts of information. In-depth knowledge of various network technologies (Fiber, 5G, FWA, SDWAN). Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred. Strong communication, presentation (prep & delivery), and business-facing skills. Experience in marketing and finance-related roles, such as market research, financial analysis, product marketing, or strategic planning desired. Awareness of evolving technologies like network slicing, and edge computing. Strong business acumen and ability to provide strong insights required to build business cases for offer approval. Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to see things not readily apparent to others and to find unique solutions to complex challenges. Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $130,000.00 and $241,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
