Pay: $50-75 per hour (flexible) 3-4 month contract Hybrid - NYC or Long Island, NY **There is also a Sr. Tax Manager position available which requires 8+ years of experience. salary: $50 - $75 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring compliance with tax laws. Possess comprehensive knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment, as well as a working understanding of trusts, estates, gifts, and charitable entities. Build and maintain client relationships and collaborate with firm leadership. Supervise and mentor associates and senior staff, fostering professional growth. Ensure accurate time tracking and billing for self and team. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, ing knowledge to client work. Participate in networking activities and seek new client relationships. Coordinate with other tax professionals to ensure efficient service delivery. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field. 6+ years of recent tax compliance and/or consulting experience. CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification. Experience preparing US-based individual, partnership, and entity returns. Private Client Services experience needed (high-networth 1040s, Trust, Estate, gifts, etc Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Taxation or related field. Experience with GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software. Experience working with clients in the production/entertainment industry. Additional Information: Hybrid work schedule with 3 days a week in-office. Must be able to commute to any of the listed office locations.
