We are seeking a hands-on Associate Director to join our Finance team in NYC and be responsible for overseeing and managing the budgeting and forecasting related to Payroll, P&L & balance sheet reporting and reconciliation. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting procedures and practice. We are looking for a candidate who is detailed oriented and highly organized with excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills that can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Position Duties: Manage the month-end close, monthly reforecast, and annual budget process Track and analyze payroll, turnover, and headcount Manage yearly engagement with KPMG Review and approve monthly revenue, expense, and intercompany journal entries. Partner with intercompany agencies and accounting to reconcile month end balances. Work alongside investment to ensure reporting is in line with monthly and quarterly goals Collaborate with other members of the finance team to identify process improvements and efficiencies, and implement changes as needed. Manage HFM and TM1 reporting of OMnet financials. Manage and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and professional development. Help with A/R collections or vendor payments as needed Participate in ad hoc projects as needed. Position Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant degrees. 8+ years working in Financial Reporting or Accounting related field. Highly detail oriented and very organized with experience in budgeting and forecasting for payroll and other related expenses. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills with the ability to work autonomously to analyze complex data and identify trends and issues. Strong communication, interpersonal and writing skills with the ability to interact with business partners at all levels and functions. Self-starter and independent/pro-active thinker who has the desire to work in a fast-paced organization. High degree of maturity, diplomacy, and professionalism. Proven ability to manage projects to successful completion, multi-task, and work within tight deadlines. Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and mentor team members. Strong knowledge of Excel, Pivot Tables, Lookups, etc. Preferred: Prior experience with financial reporting, staffing reconciliation, variance analysis preferred Prior Advertising/Media/Entertainment industry experience a plus. Experience with TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics) and Oracle HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) a plus. #LI-KW1 This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Compensation Range $135,000-$155,000 USD This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
