Job Description Summary: Our client's Securities Litigation Group handles a wide array of civil and regulatory matters for corporate and individual clients. In the civil domain, the team represents issuers, including Fortune 100 companies and leading technology and life sciences firms, along with their directors and officers, in securities class actions, derivative suits, merger litigation, and other disputes arising from securities-related issues. The group also has a robust practice in internal investigations, regulatory compliance, and white-collar defense. This includes representing audit and special committees in investigations involving allegations of accounting fraud, whistleblower claims, or violations of anti-bribery laws such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). The team also defends companies and individuals in DOJ and SEC investigations and regulatory proceedings. This position offers a unique opportunity for associates to be at the forefront of securities litigation and investigatory work, gaining experience with some of the world's most innovative technology and life sciences companies. Job Description: Our client is seeking a Securities Litigation Associate with at least four (4+) years of relevant experience. This role is primarily for their San Francisco or Silicon Valley office, though candidates interested in other office locations may also be considered. The ideal candidate must possess superior academic credentials, excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal abilities. Candidates must be admitted to the bar in the state corresponding to the office they are applying for or be eligible to sit for or waive into the next bar exam.
