Resilience Specialist - Disaster RecoveryLocation: NYC HybridType: Contract-to-hireRate: $65.00 - $85.00hr*The ideal candidate would have strong experience with Resilience Strategies and excellent communication skills.Description:This team is currently looking to hire a Business Continuity Manager to the team to assist with the Resilience Strategies planning. The project will consist of collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify potential gaps and vulnerabilities and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.Responsibilities:• Develop and Implement Resilience Strategies• Disaster Recovery (DR) Coordination• Business Continuity Management (BCM)• Monitoring and Reporting:• Stakeholder Collaboration and Training• Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures• Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning• Create sustainable systems and services through automation and upliftsQualifications:• Proven experience (5+ years) in IT operational resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity management.• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and risk management frameworks.• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to BCPDR (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST, COBIT).• Experience with monitoring, testing, and reporting resilience strategies to senior leadership.• Strong project management experience• Minimum 5+ years experience in infrastructure management and reliability engineering• Experience with storage technologies including backup systems• Proven experience to create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts• Prior Financial Institution Experience• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Degrees or certifications:• Certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), ITIL, or CISSP are a plus.• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related fieldNote: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
