What You'll Do The Finance Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, customization, training, and support of the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and applications for PAE (currently Deltek). This position requires cross functional close-collaborative work with Information Systems, Project Accounting, Corporate Finance, Project Support, Marketing, Human Resources, and other internal departments. Work with Finance Leadership, organizational partners, and stakeholders to assess and define system requirements to meet core functionality and key business objectives Lead the administration and ongoing support of Finance applications and tools, including ERP (Deltek), budgeting tools, Power BI reports, etc. Plan, test and implement system changes, version upgrades, customizations, workflows, and process improvements in accordance with PAE's change management process Design and implement workflows to streamline business processes Troubleshoot and resolve any ERP related hardware, software, user access, or other problems Identify opportunities for automation to improve operational efficiency Provide escalation support and troubleshooting for key stakeholders and critical business processes Develop FAQs, knowledge base and instructional content Create and maintain custom reports and dashboard to provide insights into business performance and train users on report generation and interpretation Act as the ERP subject-matter expert for system-integration efforts Participate in the execution of operational controls for Finance systems (e.g., business continuity, incident, problem, and change management), which may include occasional after-hours operations and support Participate in the development of operational documentation (e.g., infrastructure diagrams, standards, policies, procedures, training) Participate in the development and enforcement of information management policy and procedures related to the ERP, including data classification, taxonomy, retention, integration, and security Actively invest in continuing education by attending training, user groups, conferences, and reading industry content Enterprise change management Engage with IS to manage and enhance the use of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) enabled tools Perform other duties as assigned What You Bring Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience 7+ years of related professional experience 3+ years of experience with Deltek administration required. Additional experience with other ERP platforms a plus Understanding of Project and Corporate Accounting processes and workflows in a professional services environment Familiarity with RPA a plus Experience in the Architecture and/or Engineering industry preferred In-depth expertise and experience with Deltek system administration, configuration, customization, and reporting Familiarity with relational database concepts Have a growth mindset/ willingness to learn new systems and tools is a must. Experience with Microsoft Office and the Office 365 platform Strong knowledge of reporting systems/software Experience developing reports with Access, Excel, and Power BI preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to train users in groups or one-on-one Ability to translate non-technical business requirements into technical requirements and solutions Ability to work with technology partners and vendors to manage delivery of desired outcomes Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion Experience with SQL scripting, Power Automate and querying data is required. Ability to handle tasks and manage workload efficiently Location: This is a hybrid position located in New York, New York What We Offer Hiring Base Salary Range: $96,100 - $128,500 annual This position is eligible for straight time overtime pay The base salary is one component of PAE's competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered.
