Requisition ID: 172194 Job Level: Senior Level Home District/Group: Weeks Marine - Construction Department: Estimating Market: Marine Employment Type: Full Time Position Overview The Senior Estimator is responsible for gathering details and compiling data to estimate all production costs according to bid documents. Weeks Marine is headquartered in Cranford, New Jersey, and manages a network of regional offices in Louisiana, Texas, Hawaii, Guam, Ontario, and Nova Scotia. Location This position will be located in Cranford, NJ. Responsibilities • Analyze plans and specifications • Perform site visit(s) and meets with owners and designers if required • Prepare take-offs • Prepare budgetary estimates • Establishes means and methods of construction and performs engineering analyses to support means and methods • Prepare costs analysis for certain or all portions of the projects • Solicit quotes from subcontractors and vendors • Prepare construction schedule and perform cash-flow analyses • Close out bids and assist in preparation of supporting documentation • From time to time, visits projects, and prepares cost analyses #LI-MO1 Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in Heavy Civil Marine Construction with 4+ years Estimating preferred • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology/Management required • Proficient skills in standard computer software packages • Supervisory experience preferred • This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language #LI-MO1 Other Requirements: Regular, reliable attendance Work productively and meet deadlines timely Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
