Location: New York, New York Type: Direct Hire Job #712 Salary: $53,000 Legal Recruiting Assistant COMPENSATION: Base salary up to $63K, commensurate with experience, Paid Overtime, Bonus eligible, Medical and Dental Coverage; Paid Time Off; 401K; Savings Accounts; and more! LOCATION: New York, NY THE ORGANIZATION: Top-Ranked Law Firm KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide general administrative support to the recruiting team with respect to on-campus, international lawyer recruiting and summer associate programs Assist with on campus interviewing (OCI) processes, including scheduling and attending in-house debriefings, organizing debriefing materials, preparing OCI lists and OCI feedback forms, inputting OCI schedules, updating grade book, preparing correspondence and distributing invites and decline emails Complete on campus registration forms, fees and firm marketing packages Maintain/update on-campus recruiting calendar and confirm all hospitality suite events for designated schools Assist with greeting applicants upon arrival and escorting them to interviews Collect and enter interview evaluations for candidates Maintain various Recruiting and Summer Committee distribution lists Maintain and track files Maintain spring initiative binders and process requests for designated schools Process data entry of all candidates and maintain files and status during recruiting season; and generate all correspondence letters to candidates Assists with planning summer associate and recruiting events, including research of venues, distributing event reminders, collecting RSVP's, distributing tickets and preparing expense reports Assists in information/record keeping for the Summer Program, including maintaining the Summer Access Database and Extranet forms, collecting and compiling data for the Summer Associate Extranet, maintaining and updating summer related lists, coordinating and updating the Summer Assignment/Work Report Database Prepare bulletin notices regarding all summer associate announcements Maintain summer and recruiting budgets for Legal Recruiting Manager Assist with collecting and drafting summer associate evaluations Track and maintain summer associate mentor activities including coordinating activities for mentors Provide general data support for law schools teams throughout the year Liaise with student groups and organize fireside chats REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree required 2+ year of related legal recruiting experience Solid knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint required. Advanced skill in MS Excel and knowledge of viRecruit a plus Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, efficient at multitasking and able to handle time sensitive projects Possess excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills Must have flexibility in working overtime to meet operating needs particularly during the summer and fall
