Description: Job Title: Account Manager Reports To: Director of Sales and Marketing Department: Sales Summary: The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the companys sales goals by maintaining excellent relationships with existing accounts, and providing unparalleled customer service to every client in every interaction. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: ? Own full event lifecycle, from initial call to post-event follow up, and anything in between ? Initiate, develop and nurture relationships with new clients via designated communication cadence assigned to client type ? Educate clients on SDPR products and services that are available and appropriate, and collaborate with them when guidance is needed on event design, managing a rental budget, and event logistics ? Document activity daily in the CRM to ensure all teams are being communicated to/with, and allowing holistic service to be provided. ? Work cross-functionally with internal teams to guarantee successful event execution for all SDPR clients regardless of account owner and region. ? Stay abreast of industry trends, competition, and best practices in the service industry in a broad sense. ? Attend trade shows, open houses, and networking events when required ? Inform and influence internal partners to develop new product offerings and services based on market and industry knowledge ? Become an expert on each potential clients organization, business model, and strategic priorities to foster and retain the relationship. ? Sales activities as directed by ownership Requirements: Qualifications: ? A Bachelor's degree and a passion for advertising, media, research, business, and customer engagement. ? 3 to 5 years of relevant experience working within the hospitality/service industry ? Proven track record of building and leveraging good working relationships. ? Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong relationships with all levels of an organization. ? Excellent written and oral communications skills as well as listening and presentation skills. ? Strong skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) ? Strong systems aptitude - experience utilizing a CRM a plus ? Extraordinary organizational, attention to detail, and time/project management skills - able to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment ? A team player and enjoys a fast-paced work environment ? Motivated, proactive, and solutions-driven
