HRIING FOR A COST ESTIMATOR / ENGINEER! Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Engineer to prepare and negotiate change orders for contractors on DEP projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable team and gain valuable experience in construction management. Responsibilities Prepare and negotiate change orders for contractors on DEP projects. Work closely with contractors to ensure compliance with procedures. Understand and apply contractor procedures, specifically for DEP. Utilize Excel for tracking and managing change orders. Essential Skills 5-10 years of experience in negotiating and preparing change orders. Experience working with contractors. Proficiency in Excel. Understanding of DEP contractor procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with DEP change orders. Work Environment This position is 100 percent in-office at the Tallman Island Wastewater Treatment Plant in Queens. You will gain experience working with a Construction Management team.
