Maintenance Mechanic CT

About the Company:Join a well-established company in the security printing business as a Maintenance Mechanic. This role is part of a small, dynamic technical team within a job shop environment. You'll work on a broad range of assignments, supporting machinery, equipment, and facility needs.Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical diagnostics and repair for printing presses, converting, testing, and material handling equipment. Build and install machine upgrades and retrofits; assist with moving equipment. Support a variety of facility-related tasks as needed. Collaborate with production departments to ensure smooth machinery operation.Qualifications: 10+ years of hands-on experience in machine repair. Own basic mechanic tools. Proficient in reading CAD drawings, understanding tolerances, and measuring part dimensions. Knowledge of manual machine tools for milling and turning. Proficient in TIG and MIG welding; occasional sheet metal work required. Comfortable working with contractors for machinery and facility support.
