Parsons School of Design Manager for Full-Time Faculty Affairs Parsons School of Design seeks a Manager for Full-Time Faculty Affairs. The Manager is principally responsible for advancing the work of the Assistant and Associate Deans for Full-Time Faculty Affairs. The Manager will work closely with the deans to support approximately 185 full-time faculty whose research and teaching crosses many disciplines. Principally, the Faculty Affairs area supports the hiring, review, and promotion of full-time faculty as well as the equitable implementation of University policies and processes. The Manager reports to the Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs. RESPONSIBILITIES Working with the Assistant and Associate Deans, ensure compliance with policies as articulated in the Full-Time Faculty Handbook. Manage faculty review processes including: preparing and organizing files, collating and disseminating materials, tracking and maintaining correspondence with external reviewers, and related tasks. Assist with faculty search and recruitment efforts, including overseeing job postings, reviewing and archiving application materials, supporting search committees, and liaising with HR. Support new faculty by navigating new hires through paperwork and onboarding processes. Working with the Assistant and Associate deans to support faculty orientations, development workshops, programs and other initiatives; plan and provide programming / event support. Serve as a preliminary point of contact to full-time faculty regarding school and University resources, processes, and the related timelines; support the use of University processes, tools, and systems. Prepare and maintain various FTF data sets for the Assistant and Associate Dean with an emphasis on data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. Work closely with the Assistant Dean to log and track full-time faculty contracts, memoranda of understanding (MOUs), supplemental pay, etc. Contribute to preparation and ongoing management of faculty resources such as those found on the website and other university systems; using them as resources to share information and updates. Perform other administrative duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree with related professional experience. At least three years' work experience in educational administration, ideally in a university setting. Self-starter capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a complex work environment. Ability to work successfully independently as well as part of a team. Ability to communicate well with diverse populations including faculty and staff throughout the University. Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills; facility with and interest in maintaining large data sets. Proficiency in Google Drive, MS Office, and online database systems. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree. WORK MODE Hybrid - Employees hired for this position primarily work remotely with the occasional on-campus presence required with advanced notice. Employees in this role will also be expected to use their best judgment to be on campus when necessary in order to best fulfill the responsibilities of their job descriptions. #LI-HYBRID SALARY RANGE $65,000 - $70,000 per annum We look forward to receiving your application!
