Client: Property Management Company Role: Operations Coordinator Payrate: $28hr -$31hr 3 month contract Location: Long Island City, NY Onsite 5 days a week Job Description:Job Title: Property Operations Assistant Reports to: Community ManagerJob Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Operations Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and operational support for the smooth and efficient management of residential andor commercial properties. You will assist with daily operations, tenant services, and maintenance coordination to ensure that properties are managed to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities:Administrative Support:Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling tenant inquiries.Maintain and update tenant files, lease agreements, and property documentation.Prepare and process invoices, payments, and rent collection.Assist with the preparation of property reports and records for management.Tenant Relations:Serve as a point of contact for tenants and address their needs, concerns, or maintenance requests.Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including conducting property inspections and documenting conditions.Help ensure tenant satisfaction by providing timely responses and maintaining positive relationships.Maintenance and Vendor Coordination:Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders with vendors and contractors.Monitor the completion of maintenance tasks to ensure timely resolution of issues.Assist in scheduling and tracking regular property inspections and upkeep.Lease Administration:Assist with lease renewals, tenant communications, and processing rental applications.Help ensure all lease terms and conditions are adhered to and documented.Maintain accurate property and lease records for compliance.Property Inspections and Reporting:Assist with routine property inspections to ensure properties are in compliance with safety, maintenance, and cleanliness standards.Document and report any issues or violations to the property manager.General Operations Support:Help with the preparation of budgets and financial reports.Coordinate and assist with property marketing and leasing efforts.Perform other administrative or operational tasks as needed.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).Previous experience in property management, real estate, or a related field is a plus.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium) is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
