OVERVIEW OF THE AP SPECIALIST ROLE:As the AP Specialist, you'll play a key role in managing accounts payable functions across multiple locations. Your responsibilities will include: Receive and accurately process large volumes of invoices for the corporate office and four manufacturing facilities. The AP Specialist will process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Reconcile vendor accounts and monthly statements to verify and resolve any discrepancies. Maintain vendor relations by responding to inquiries regarding payment status. The AP Specialist will reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accurately posted. Support compliance tasks related to accounts payable processes, such as W-9 management and sales tax reporting. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR AP SPECIALIST ROLE: Accounts Payable experience helpful, but not required. Excel spreadsheets experience and proficiency Distinctly self-motivated, work independently, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
