ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - GENERATION MID LEVEL Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities: POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to work in our Generation Electrical Department. Openings are available for the Boise, ID; Overland Park (Kansas City), KS; and Oradell, NJ offices. Responsibilities include: Lead and support electrical engineer on design of power generation projects Lead and support electrical engineer on the design of renewable energy projects Lead and support electrical engineer on power plant and switchyard electrical system upgrades Lead and support electrical engineer on federal electrical system upgrades Mentor and teach junior engineers Project proposal and budget development Required Education/Experience Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Electrical PE License 6-8years of detailed electrical design engineering experience, including calculations, equipment specifications, etc. 5years of relay coordination and schematic design CAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software experience Desired Education/Experience Master of Science or MBA Previous experience leading a group of engineers is a plus 5years of detailed design engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus 5years of owners engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus At POWER Engineers, you can have a rewarding career on every level.
