Job Title: Project Control Engineer/Specialist, Principal Job Requisition: 11863.416.5 / R161425 Job Location: New York, New York Job Type: Full Time Rate of Pay: $139,214.00 to $168,700.00 per Year Duties: Develop, implement, and maintain scheduling, planning and cost control function for construction projects. Analyze, evaluate, and forecast project status against established baseline schedule due to various design or construction changes and schedule slippages. Customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements. Provide functional management of assigned project controls staff of five employees. This management responsibility includes training of employees and also employee performance reviews/actions. Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Project Control Engineer-related occupation. Position requires: General Project Controls cost support including entering and maintaining budgets, actual costs, and forecast costs at both job- and contract-levels for multiple assigned projects. Apply knowledge of engineering, procurement and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships. Assess the impact(s) of design or construction changes and schedule slippages. Accumulate historical data including performance experience for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting. Establish project progress reporting formats and tools.
