Manager, HRBP, Field & Retail (East Coast) Location: New York, NY, US Team: Human Resources Job type: Permanent Puig is a major player in the worldwide fashion and beauty industry. The Manager, HR Business Partner Retail & Field, East Coast will have a pivotal role as a trusted advisor to our Retail and Field population. This role will support the development and implementation of effective People strategies to support the overall business objectives which include Learning and Development, Employee Relations, Talent Management, Compliance, and Change management in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. What you'll get to do Strategic Business Partner • Build effective relationships and partnerships with the business leaders • Partner with business leaders' teams on HR issues such as employee relations, talent management, organizational development/change, culture and learning and development • Ability to work in a changing environment, see through complexity and strategically promote an inclusive and diverse workforce • Oversee and drive the execution of People initiatives and programs • Collaborate with Brand leadership to identify key business priorities to support business objectives and growth • A problem solver who is analytical and creative Employee Relations and Engagement • Assist in the implementation and execution of the people strategy and performance culture including Succession Planning • Proactively address employee issues, providing guidance and resolution to ensure a positive work environment • Drive compliance training across all field and store teams • Ability to conduct and successfully resolve investigations • Foster a culture of engagement and empowerment that values diversity and demonstrates fair and consistent management practices Training and Development • Provide coaching to team leaders on how to engage and develop employees to build people capabilities effectively • Analyze and proactively define talent needs and capabilities to build retention strategies • Maximize team performance through coaching leaders to enable them to provide feedback and development to their teams • Facilitate leadership development programs to ensure a pipeline of internal talent • Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of employees by working closely with leaders to identify training needs and address skill gaps • Support the talent review process to ensure consistent and equitable decision-making; provide training and coaching on the overall talent process Performance Management • Provide coaching and support to managers to address performance issues and develop employee skills • Collaborate with leadership to identify and nurture high potentials for career growth • Provide guidance to brand leaders on the preparation and delivery of performance reviews Talent Acquisition and Recruitment • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, conduct interviews and make hiring decisions • Streamline and optimize the onboarding process to provide world class employee experience We'd love to meet you if you have • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related fields preferred • 5+ years of HR related experience with demonstrated knowledge of all core HR processes including employee relations, leadership development, talent and performance management, organization design, and succession planning • 3+ years' experience in employee relations in a Field or Retail environment • Demonstrated experience in leading HR initiatives and change management projects • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience in the Beauty, Wellness, or Hospitality industry is a plus • Ability to travel domestically as needed Compensation Data As required by New York State's salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $95,000.00 - $115,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
