45-46/hr Insight Global is hiring for a Streaming Network Technician sit in New York, NY for a large, streaming & entertainment company. This Streaming Network Technician will be joining their Global DTC Quality Assurance & Engineering team. This Streaming Network Technician will be reporting into the Network Manager and responsible for building & developing labs, building different racks & cabinets for test devices, equipment setup, VPN setup (both onshore & offshore), ethernet trafficking, and coordinating with facilities to ensure racks and labs are configured/ assembled properly. Furthermore, this Streaming Network Tech needs to have experience working in a multimedia lab environment and have experience on the latest devices ( TVs, streaming devices, cell phones, etc. Occasional travel may be required if needing assistance at other testing lab in CT. Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of audio video experience with latest devices TVs, streaming device, cell phones, platforms, etc. Prior experience with Ethernet and Internet trafficking Experience working in a multimedia lab or lab environment Networking knowledge: configuring wires & cables, securing routing networks, hardware, network switches Building different racks and cabinets - test devices, auto, video, etc Good personality & communication Bachelor's Degree in a related field Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience within the multimedia or streaming industry Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
