POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. Key duties include shipping and receiving, inventory control, record-keeping, and support for manufacturing and service projects. This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts. The Warehouse Associate will also assist with equipment and parts deliveries and ensure company vehicles are well-maintained. KEY DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with company and industry standards. Coordinate and manage shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Handle and document all incoming and outgoing shipments. Accurately track and record inventory levels, movements, and locations. Regularly update inventory records to maintain accurate stock counts. Efficiently locate and retrieve inventory items in their specified locations to support quick access and reduce downtime. Request necessary equipment and parts to support ongoing projects, manufacturing, and service needs. Ensure timely and accurate requisitions to maintain project flow. Safely operate a forklift to move, organize, and store inventory items as needed. Follow all safety guidelines for equipment operation. Regularly inspect and maintain company vehicles used for parts and equipment delivery. Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and meet operational standards. Deliver equipment and parts as needed to various job sites, ensuring prompt and professional service. Perform other duties and special projects as requested by the General Manager to support company operations and goals. Support the company's mission, standards, policies, and procedures, including confidentiality guidelines. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred Forklift certification or ability to become certified Valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Standard warehouse environment: Standard warehouse equipment (Forklift, pallet jack, pallet racking, crates, etc.). While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
