Adecco is seeking a reliable Material Handler for a client in the Clifton, NJ area. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety while moving materials in a factory warehouse and production environment. Qualifications: Valid New Jersey driver's license Successful completion of a forklift training course Basic knowledge of truck unloading and loading procedures Understanding of forklift safety precautions Primary Responsibilities: Safely move materials within factory warehouse and production areas Return unused materials to their proper warehouse location Weigh rolls of material before and after use by production personnel Provide accurate material information to the Receiving/Warehouse Manager Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks, storing materials properly Perform other tasks as assigned by the Receiving/Warehouse Manager Immediately report any mechanical or safety issues with forklifts or other material handling equipment to the supervisor Quality Responsibilities: Ensure the integrity of materials during movement and storage Maintain proper identification of materials to prevent misuse Inspect incoming materials for damage or shortages, and report discrepancies as necessary Pay Details: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
