Job Opportunity: Practice AssistantsMedical Receptionist Bilingual Spanish Location: East Setauket Pay Rate: $18.00 - 25.00 per hour DOE Key Responsibilities: Provide courteous and prompt customer service to patients and visitors. Verify and update patient account details according to front desk policies. Collaborate with the Insurance Verification team to ensure accurate insurance information. Maintain a clean and organized work area and patient waiting room. Stay informed about individual physicians' scheduling preferences. Respond to patient requests and provide information professionally and promptly. Use effective communication strategies to address the needs of all patients, including vulnerable populations. Perform additional related duties as required. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent (required). Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical practice environment. Knowledge of insurance verification and front desk processes. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Professional demeanor with a focus on patient satisfaction.
