Manage the cost accounting processes, including tracking, analyzing, and reporting on manufacturing costs, product costing, and variances. Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses to provide insights into business performance. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with other departments to ensure accuracy and alignment with company goals. Maintain and ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures. Collaborate with auditors during the annual audit process and provide necessary documentation. Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies to improve business efficiency and profitability. Stay current on relevant accounting standards and regulations affecting the manufacturing industry. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA designation is a plus. 5+ years of experience in accounting. Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
