Line of Business: Enterprise Enabling Functions Job Description: Leads procurement for systems and operations that help run the bank from customer to banking and execute against a multi-billion dollar annual spend profile. Primary supported LoBs are HR, Marketing, Travel, Physical Security and TD Insurance amongst others. Depth & Scope: Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork, and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required Contributes to and delivers against SSG strategic agenda and priorities Leads a team of procurement professionals to achieve collective goals through effective communication, strategic planning, and fostering a collaborative work environment Assists SSG to deliver on its mission statement, including Creating Shareholder Value, Execution with Excellence & Speed, Attract and Inspire Top Talent, Being a Trusted Business Partner, Delivering Strong Control & Governance, and Deliver procurement information to decisions makers Contributes to the effective operation of the TD Enterprise Procurement Policy (TDEPP), the Vendor Management Policy, and the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Policy and Framework Collaborates with VMS&S to deliver efficiencies with shared vendor portfolios Contributes to the TD Ready Commitment via active support of ESG programs Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience MBA or equivalent would be an asset 10+ years of relevant work experience History of making an impact, developing, and executing on strategies, and delivering superior results in both the short and long term Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing Demonstrated business acumen and judgment Drive and a determined attitude to flawless execution and delivery Strong people management skills with demonstrated experience in leading high performing teams Expertise in working effectively in teams - requires a track record of working cross-organizationally and with multiple stakeholders at varying levels Demonstrated relationship building and negotiation skills, with a superior ability to make things happen through the use of positive influence Powerful communicator who engages colleagues, business partners, external stakeholders, and employees Who We Are: TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
